A benefit concert for the first Free the Children Arts School in Kenya, the first school of its kind in the country! This school will provide children from the Masai Mara region with the necessary artistic tools to realize their potential as individuals and as community members. Above all, it will give them the hope that their dreams are attainable and that change is possible.
Spectators spent a unique afternoon with Craig Kielburger, Co-Founder of Free the Children, the largest network of children helping children in the world! The event was hosted by the talented and inspiring Raymond Ablack from TV's DEGRASSI: The Next Generation. Performers included Louise Kent, Luke Nares, Justin Bacchus, Miranda Mulholland, Jobin Sam, Jérôme Couture, Maria Thorburn, as well as dozens of other amazing artists from the Toronto and Montreal scene, not to mention many surprise guests!
